Unpacking Privilege
Maybe you've heard that "allyship is a verb" or that white people need to "do the work" and you both want to do the work and find yourself feeling uncertain what, exactly, the work is. Maybe these expressions, or that word: privilege, has you feeling a bit defensive.

If you're feeling "called out" take a breath. Your starting point is that you value, not as a buzzword but as what matters to you in life, a more inclusive world for everyone. What we want to do in Unpacking Privilege is to call you in.

These workshops offered by Divergent Path Wellness are inspired by the words of Maya Angelou, "Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better." and the belief that we often don't get the education we need to show up in the world in ways that are consistent with our values. If this is your experience, this isn't your fault. We don't know what we don't know. Once you're aware of your gaps in information, you have an opportunity to seek out information, learn, and grow.
